Pace Villa has infinite walking possibilities directly from the property. The entire vast Cabrera mountain range is right on your doorstep, one of the major birds migratory routes is directly overhead giving the opportunity to observe even birds of prey. During the walks, enjoy the Mediterranean wildflowers, butterflies and beetles, even sometimes, the colourful reptiles can be seen basking in the Sun. Or discover an ancient abandoned village, deserted in haste when Franco’s troops arrived. For those trips a little further afield, there are some wonderful uplifting rambles on the peaks of the coastal ridgeways directly above the sea. 10 Kilometres away is the famed ‘Cabo de Gato’ National Park encompassing a very dramatic volcanic landscape. At its furthest point around the Lighthouse, there are spectacular fluted basalt columns. Visit the Parks salt pans and watch pink Flamingoes, Spoonbills and Avocets!
